Hi there, greetings from the other side of the world, thx for your video, i learned a lot thx to you. I got an issue with my carb, may you help me find out the cause : it does not keep the idle position and just tirn off as soon as i push the choke. Any idea ?
@@sabrimounirbougherara7171 likely need to adjust your idle speed. This can be done if a screw on the side of the carburetor but it will require it being removed. For some reason they did not put the adjustment screws towards the outside to make it easier to adjust

@@rogerswill8194 no problem. Sorry I can't be any more help. I don't have the gun with me right now. Otherwise I would measure the hammer on it and compare it to some other hammered rifles I have. But I know the brand of the Hammer extension on
On slow motion I have noticed the slide is bouncing back after it hits the chamber. Could this be problematic while shooting? Have you had any failures or issues? I feel the recoil spring is kind of on a weak side

Hey man enjoyed the video was wondering when you pulled out the cv axle if the snap ring did get stuck how would you pull it out?
@@john-w3l9u fortunately mine didn't but if you are referring to the snap ring still being connected to the axle. Id like it up where the axle was straight and then a good firm pull should pop it out
Did the very bottom screw where you pump the gear case oil in have a gasket on it? I bought a new 50hp tohatsu this year and changed the oil for the first time and it did not have the gasket. Top one did but the bottom one didn't.
Mine did not either, but it will not hurt to have one. You can buy a pack and Amazon cheap it's a pretty universal size

What do you do about locking the reels, can someone unscrew the reel cut the line and take it?
@@williamslim3424 usually we're with the retaining lock is for the reel to Iran. I'll place that inside the carrier. Joe, you don't have access to it. Obviously if anybody wants something bad enough they'll find a way. But in my case this was for stopping at gas stations and a quick stop at a convenience store or grocery run so it worked out well for me

@@JudahMaccabee_ set the drag a little tighter and try to keep the rod tip pointed just a little bit to the left or right of the line direction to keep a small amount of tension on the hook at all times. I've caught several bass on 2 lb test and rarely have my line broken

Its a fun gun, I put 1k rounds thorough mine in the first month. Front sight fell off, just needed some loctite, only issue so far. Mine seems to like CCI mini mag segmented hollow points, they were a noticeable upgrade from CCI standard. Hopefully it stays a little cleaner with the copper coated rounds, I agree with needing to snake the barrel every 2-300 rounds, especially if shooting lead tips. If shorts didn't cost the same as lr's I probably would have tried them by now, but I'm pretty happy with the mini mags.

@@nexcuc1374 I did have some initial issues. The original owner used ethanol fuel so I had to clean the carb and he adjusted the float height way too high causing gas to flood out of the carb. Since I fixed those problems with the help of my cousin I haven't had any issues out of it. Good little outboard.
Curious how you made out as far as money to upgrade motors?
I sold my Mercury 25 for $4,000 and I bought that one for $6,000. ,000 so overall I spent $2,000 and installed the motor myself and I believe I've added at least that much value to the boat so pretty well

What year Honda Ridgeline do you have I was also thinking about putting a comp rt in mine but possibly doing just one 10-inch so it doesn't take up much room
